As part of a larger project to upgrade the Stadium facilities  at MIT, this new facilities building slips gracefully between the football field and Vassar Street, with the form of the building inflected to facilitate entry into the athletic complex.  Clad with aluminum panels, it has a continuous frameless frosted polycarbonate clerestory which floods the interior with natural light during the day and forms a glowing ribbon at night.  The planted green roof highlights the university’s commitment to sustainability initiatives.
