A native of Venice, Italy, Lorenzo joined the firm in 2014 when he moved to Boston, bringing an international sensibility to the team. At Actwo, his work focus is on institutional, commercial and residential renovation. His interests span architectural design to theories of urban environments.

Lorenzo received his B.A and M.A in Architecture from Universita’ degli Studi di Firenze, and also received a B.A in Philosophy from Universita’ Ca Foscari di Venezia.  As a student, Lorenzo won Italian national design competitions for his designs of a winery and a port.  In 2012, he was  also a finalist for a national prize in poetry. After graduation he worked with a team of architects and engineers to a design a high rise building in Brazil for Enrico Mangoni Engineering firm.  Lorenzo was then selected for a 5-week architectural fellowship in Shanghai, where he worked jointly with other international students on green architecture and urban redevelopment. His Masters Thesis focuses on rethinking urban infrastructures, e. g., the ubiquitous gas station, to create contemporary public spaces.

Lorenzo enjoys traveling, rock and ice climbing as well as relaxing at home playing the guitar. After being introduced to baseball and having understood its rules (it took a while) he became an enthusiastic Red Sox fan.
