Ryan Decker joined Andrew Cohen Architects part time while completing his degree at Roger Williams University. After receiving his Masters of Architecture Degree in December of 2010, he worked at FRANCOPiSANiARCHITETTO in Florence, Italy, returning to ACTWO full time in mid-2011.
Ryan’s thesis combined his interests in landscape urbanism, industrial architecture, and form-making to devise a new city district on the Buffalo waterfront, which took the form of a megastructure. He now applies these large-scale design theories to the firm’s attention to detail and intimate design.
Relatively new to Boston, the area is slowly growing on Ryan, but his allegiances to mostly New York sports teams has not faltered, despite the rest of the office’s persistence.
Currently, Ryan is actively pursuing his licensure through the IDP program. His interests include recreational sports, traveling, and is co-office DJ.
