Apeloa

Apeloa, a pharmaceutical contract discovery and development company sought to increase their presence in the US Market and relocate their growing team from an existing Cambridge location. A former industrial warehouse provided an existing shell in which the company’s expanded laboratory and office program could be implemented.

A centralized lounge space serves as the heart of the office area and provides a core around which circulation, an open office, and meeting rooms are arranged.  A large kitchenette is located along the demising wall between the lab and office functions and provides a functional space where team members can gather and hold all office meetings when needed. A significant lab area serves the company’s local research and development needs by providing multiple dedicated chemistry and analytical lab spaces.

Interior finish selections are closely tied to Apeloa’s corporate branding standards while color blocking is used to delineate programmatic areas and create contrasting and complimentary atmospheres throughout the space.
