A new home for the Boston office of Colliers International . This office design is organized around a centralized cafe experience that is embraced by adjoining program. The space is activated by circulation that moves people through the cafe as they connect to the various portions of the plan . The reception area , main conference suite , and open work environment participate with this space either by a physical connection or a visual one. Part of this arrangement is manifested by a client desire for a space to serve not only the daily employee need, but also for a large gathering area suitable for in-house meetings, celebrations and industry events hosted by Colliers as a global leader in commercial and real estate investment management . Hospitality like lighting is used as an architectural device to define the gathering and circulation areas. They work in concert with soffits that emphasize the importance of certain elements and guide users through the space.
