Lexington, MAA sprawling tenant floor at the top level of a R&D campus is made coherent by a series of interwoven corridors that connect the primary working and gathering spaces for the company. A distinctive metal mesh ceiling connects the entry courtyard to the open office and lab spaces, and the meeting areas to the social spaces.
Bright and open work spaces and glass hallways facilitate a collaborative office culture and provide connections and transparency between office and lab spaces. On-brand blue accents overhead lend a common palette to the various programatic areas.
The new entry form and extensive exterior rehabilitation work create a dynamic focal point for the campus’ central public courtyard. Added expanses of glass allow for visual connections from the interior work spaces to the new footpaths and landscaping that tie the campus buildings together.
